Homelessness

  • If you feel sad, lonely, scared, or anxious, reach out for help from a counselor or caseworker, or call the youth homelessness hotline at 1-888-373-7888.

  • If you are unable to financially provide for yourself during this time, click here for federal programs to assist you.

  • If you find yourself feeling sick, click here to view testing sites that are available near you. For tips and more information on how to stay healthy with no shelter, click here.

  • If you are in need of a face mask, Phi Tau has got you covered (literally). Click here to learn about how to get free masks located in Texas.

Unemployment

  • If you are searching for employment during the pandemic, learn about how to apply for unemployment here.

  • Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County is hosting a Virtual Job Fair. Click here for more information.

  • Tarrant Area Food Bank is providing food to those who are homebound with delivery and mobile pantries. To learn more, click here.

  • Phi Tau would also like to provide you information on how to apply for benefits such as medical insurance, food stamps, etc. The Texas Health and Human Services provide these programs that you can access if you click here.

Students

  • The CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund provides funding to institutions to provide emergency financial aid grants to students whose lives have been disrupted. For more information on how to apply for aid, click here.

  • Stay the Course is a program designed to provide students a resource for staying focused on completing your education and securing employment. For more information on how to connect to a personal navigator, click here.
